Hi Dale,

the Spitfire Kit does not have the original Layout of the Spitfire.
It is in 1:5.2 but there are some mismatches like size of the Battens etc.

If you are looking to US sizes here is a website with Original Boats which are APBA registered.

These plans are converted from Foot/Inch etc to Milimeters and then into 1:5.2 Size.
You might have it easier to convert only the Original Sizes to 1:5.2.

I believe here are several people intrested in the Original Sizes (if possible in Milimeters) of some of the Vintage Motors.
For example the Mercury Super 10 Hurricane (Build from 40 until 43)

The original Spitfire was equipped with that kind of Motor.

Hello from Florida, my brother and I built Speedliner/Aeroliner race boats for about 60 years. We purchased the plans and patterns from General Marine in St Joseph, MO in 1965. I have been a member of 152vo for a number of years helping a number of other members with dimensions for the Speedliner M510 Corsair and Sid Craft B runabout as well as dimensions for the Mercury Mark 20H. The M510 would be a great boat to build as they have actually won at Top O in the past.

I am not sure if these guys are still around and if they are willing to hand out their CAD Plans they made based on the Drawings attached.
Do you have some plans from the Original which we can downsize to a CAD Drawing ?
