 While glueing on the portside sidedeck, two of the clamps sprang loose and ran havoc, knocking a big hole into the sidewall each. Now she's got her first combat marks before even ever having been out to sea:  Luckily I could do some spot repair, pics of that later today ...  |

After carefully rearranging the splinters and woodchips, I fixed them with the aid of some super glue. And that's how it looks like now:
 Viewed from the right angle, it doesn't look that bad:  Maybe I can make it up a little more, but first comes the starboard sidedeck. At least now I know, where not to put the clamps ... |

Solche:
 Und ich habe sie leichtsinnigerweise von aussen angesetzt. Während auf diesem gestellten Bild sich die Klammer an der Leiste verhaken kann, sind die Biester von der Decksplanke einfach abgerutscht. Erst haben sie heimtückisch so getan, als würden sie halten, dann machte es auf einmal "TOCK - TOCK" und es war passiert. Bei der Steuerbord-Planke sind die Klammern jetzt von innen angesetzt:  |
