I just stored your plans in case a want to build a second boat ... the Hornet is a hot candidate for it!

Christian gat me some informations - a pricelist from begin of the sixties with the lengths and widths of the hornets.

The class D from this thread has the length and width from the list. 52 inches width and 13 feet long. There are four other versions of the Hornet:

- JU Class: 9 feet / 6 inch long/48 inches wide
- Class AU / BU: 11 feet Long/50 inches width
- Class CU: 12 feet long/52 inches width
- Class DU: 13 feet Long/52 inches width

At the first view the hull Geometrie Looks like the Airborne.

BUT -> The Hornets are very small. For example, the Airborne in the VX variant has a width of 319mm - the Class D / VX-variant for the Hornet is only about 255 mm wide.

There 6.4 centimeters difference between the width. Not by the Originals. 6,4cm by a 152er-Model.
