Hello everyone :hops:
here I back the subject because of the problems I have with my Atomite.
I n unable to settle it, it is not always steady .It takes off from the water. there is a height to meet? A degree of inclination? see the photo.

The engine is a SK 2700KV with a 4000 mAh battery 3S .l propeller is original.
Should we put a battery in 2S?
Thank you for your help
greeting,
Michel :top:

Michel,
as a starting point I would suggest to have the prop just fully submerged and without any inclination. Then you should find the right balance for the boat by adjusting the center of gravity, for example by moving the battery. CG should be in the last third of the boat. It's always helpful to keep the weight low, so replacing the battery with a smaller one might help.

When you think that you've found the right balance you can try to experiment with motor height or prop angle. But always do change only one thing at a time, then test and observe.
Tüssi, Andreas

Of course we need rules. How could we cheat if there were no rules?

Hello :hops:
Thank you for your answers.
regarding center of gravity, I do not know where he is?
Move the battery seems difficult caril there is a partition on the couple.
the question I ask myself and as said Gema's what my TFL is not too high?
How can one check the right angle of the TFL?
Thank you in advance
greeting
Michel. :top:

Hi Michel,
as Gema and Andreas said: first lower your Outboard ( cavitation plate about 3 mm above bottom surface) and try a smaller battery with less weight to move the center of gravity backwards (2700 mAh is enough with 3S). The angle of the outboard is the last thing to check. It should be a little bit negative on the Atomite... something between 0° and -3°, not more. The setup is a matter of try and error - always change only one parameter and try what happens.
Could you post a picture of the sideview of motor and transom which shows the actual height and tilt of the motor?

Hello JO-S :hops:
the made to a 2S battery will not do it t too light at the front?
Here some pictures, I hope that his will be clearer.

Is the engine would not be too high?
Here is the battery which is not practical!

Here the partition.

That is what puts happened during a shipwreck.

but the boat did not sink :schwimm:
Thank you for your help
