My belgian friend gema1831 told me that you were eager to see the building of my Spitfire. Here it is :

I am sorry to write in English but I don't speak german an the translation in french with Google is very funny. I.e. "Die Backward werft" is translated à something like "the shipyard of the poultry yard".

In France, I am webmaster of a general radio controlled model boats forum and presently, I describe the building of my model.

Up to now, the hull is finished and i am plannning how to install all the electronics.

After I got the Template from the frame, I could cut the pièces :

Yes Sir. And also all the others which are linked on my forum. I made them with my younger son and his son (my Grandson) as I can't drive the boat and take the pictures at the same time. I have only 2 hands, one to hold the Tx, one to hold the stick and no other to hold the camera. Should be useful sometimes.

I built first the PRINCESS and later the QUEEN from Aero Naut and descrbed the building in the french magazine Le Modèle Réduit de Bateau (MRB) in january and april 2012. I created this very simple web site to present these boats running to the readers of the magazine but for models of my own, i prefer to show them on my forum dedicated to general rc model boating. It would be too long and out of subject to tell why I created this forum as I am also a moderator of the official MRB forum. In short : I had in the mind to make the same difference between my forum and the former than between a yacht club lounge and a harbour bistro...

Coming back to the Spitfire, today, as the main of the hull is finished, I plan to coat and paint the outside.
