I used Motip Clear Varnish.

The problem is the color paint; I used wood paint from a can and applied it with a roller, instead of using spray cans. That doesn't work with the Motip very well as I found out...

Yesterday was a Nice meeting in Elst, near Nijmegen!

Lex, Jan, Gerard, Jo and Lilly we all present and it was nice to meet them! It was also nice to compare our boats. Lex and Jan did a great job on their hulls

We ran the Ben Hur, Bazinga and Maverick all together and it was great fun! At first the Maverick ran too loose at the front. With a little more down trim on the outboard she ran much better. Full speed she dances on the water and she turns nicely with some drifting outwards.

Improvements that can be made: move the weight more to the left to compensate for the prop torque. Also I will experiment with the lipo a little more in the front to make the hull a little more stable.

Yes, the prop torque seems to be an issue. 2 - 3 times it looked like she will turn around her longitudinal axis. I think she is at her edge with this setup and sooner or later this will lead to a flip

Yes Ulmo, that already happened...twice! First time was like your photos, it came up the right way. Johnny is a tough guy, he didn't complain at all Second time it stayed upside down, but luckily she floats well and there was no damage.

You're right about the setup that its on the edge. I barely give full throttle, because the hull comes completely out of the water. However I think some fine tuning will improve the performance. Also in the video I use the stock 3000kV motor, which exceeds the Yardstick. I already have a 2700kV outrunner laying here
