Starting the construction by making the plans. I have the lenght and width. Looking at a lot of pictures to come up with the rest. This will take some time...

I'm thinking using 1/8" plywood for the bulkheads.

Also, 1/8 x 1/4" for the stringers and double it up to make 1/4" x 1/4" after gluing?

What about the bottom and sides? 1/16"?? Solid mahogany or plywood?

Plywood. More durable, and at the same time a litthe flexible when in a collision. Mahogany you can use for deck, or sides as well but coat it with laminating epoxy.

I will be having the bulkheads and keel laser cut, so I need to tell the folks cutting the parts what thickness wood for each part.

My brother builds full size wood boats (see picture of his latest boat).

. I showed him the boat I want to build and He asked me if it is possible to get tiny screws?

It says on this website to use actual construction techniques, so these tiny screws might be available somewhere??

Bob Switzer won our Michigan Marathon race in 1952, so I wanted to recreate one of his boats.

I see the Baby Bullet kit is no longer availale. So, I'm drawing up my own plans.

I wanted a little bigger boat than the 'Baby' , so I chose a the 13'6" "D" Class Bullet. Did a lot of on-line research to get pictures of the boat so I can make the plans the best I can from pictures, without having the full-size boat to measure.
