Ok, now to start with questions.

What is the best glue?

When I was 13 years old I build a 1/12 scale Thriftway Too hydroplane (Dumas Kit).

I used "Wood Glue" and, unfortunately, the glue softened when it got wet and the model started to come apart.

40 years later I don't want to repeat that mistake.

I studied German Language in high school and even visited Deutchland as a school trip!

I have both a BMW, and Audi and a Mercedes (no Detroit Michigan cars however!).

I collect and repair Rolleiflex film cameras.

Some fun facts about Michigan:

Michigan has over 10,000 inland lakes over 5 acers in size.
Johnson, Evinrude and Mercury are located in Wisconsin and Indiana (nearby states)
Hacker-Craft boats; founded in Michigan
Chris-Craft boats were made in Algonac Michigan
APBA Headquarters is in Michigan
Gibson Guitars were originally made in Michigan
Mackinac Bridge, in 1957 was one of the longest bridges, almost 5 miles to connect upper and lower Michigan.

As to your question about glue, I use superglue (ca) to everything.
But i use 50g glassfibre cloth on bottom and sides with laminating epoxy.
