After putting the 2 side deckstringers in I sanded the deck.

And put some reinforcement for the turnfin.

With this being my first build i also had some beginner faults. There was a gap between the bulkhead and the bottom, i solved them with some small strips.

Hi Jeroen,
looks very good so far :super: Beginner faults are normal and I think nearly every boat will have some faults. I built my Baby Bullet with Jo's contruction kit and when it was finished, the boat was a little bit too long  Now my Foo Ling is nearly finished and this boat is also not perfect. But that doesn't matter. We have a lot of fun during the construction and also lot of fun on the water. The fun it's the main thing, not the faults :rc:
Viele Grüße Rolf (Floh)

Really looking great. When we were building the original full size boats we would the deck in four pieces. The front would be split down the centerline of the boat and continue back about 3 inches past the steering rib. Then both side decks would be fit back to the transom. The reason was to make it easier handling the large pieces of plywood. The early boats in the 1960's and earlier were screwed together with silicon bronze Philips head screws. The later editions were held together with silicon bronze anchor fast nails.

Translation is changing some of my words for instance fast=almost????
