After 4.5 runs with the OSE outboard I broke the flex shaft today.

After I pulled the flex shaft and the Teflon tube, I saw a hole in the Teflon tube...

Could it be that the radius is too tight for the flex shaft and therefore stresses too much?

I know Lex also broke his shaft on the meeting in Elst. I keep you updated...

Maybe a flat washer between prop and bushing helps here ... But I am just speculating

Good point Ulmo. I can see the logic in that. I noticed indeed a little too much space between the washer and the bushing. I will install another washer to reduce the space for the next flex shaft.
