Nice to read about your own build! Good choice I woulod say It is indeed a really fast boat. Only drawback is the tight space in the front for the lipo.

I found a couple of pictures of Tommy Marcel in a boat we sold to his father Bud Marcel I think some time around 1970. These pictures were taken at Tupper Lake, New York and provided to me by his sister Sumi. The Marcel's did very well in boat racing have won at least one National Championship, Sumi or Sue also race very successfully.

This boat was built in the 1961 style of the M510 Corsair after we purchased the plans and patterns from the maker, General Marine, of Speedliner Boats. The hull was the basically the same as the 1950's but eliminated the front cockpit as allowed by the rules of APBA.

While I was waiting for my wood to get deliverd, my driver knocked on the door to set foot in the Dutch shipyard.

The funny thing is this lad is actually called Jurgen.

At some later point my wood finally arrived so i started laying the battens and stringers in the frame work.

I started with sanding the battons and stringers in shape, those are finally "fertig"







I also mounted the back plate to the boat
